Underland Gallery arose in 2021 to house stories of all kinds and help foster the creative threads of the South Brooklyn arts community.

Located in Bay Ridge, Underland aims to be a hub for all manner of art, music, and conversation. Artist-led and run, its founders Hannah Salyer, Ester Kwon, and Maxim Elrod set out to create a space where community comes first.

Underland is committed to cultivating a welcoming atmosphere through programming that is exciting and accessible, with local arts activation and engagement at the helm of its core values.
